Yes, I must say - I hear lot's of timelines for 'the future of fusion'!
The ITER project is due to start in 2025, but some people might argue that it is still not supplying fusion generated power to the grid which has a much later timeline. I guess it depends on when you think fusion is 'useful' - when (assuming success) it's producing net energy, or, when it's actually supplying energy to our homes?
You are right about decomissioning of nuclear fission plants (as a previous commenter commented previously) - but the radioactivity is shorter lived and contained to the fusion site... So arguably, less to 'deal with' than a fission reactor.
