Actually, your comment promted me to do a little more research on that. I now editing my article as I learned that Cotes du Rhone is pretty varied and differs depending on the region.

I guess the best test would be to try aerating your 'standard' wine for different times and see what tastes best ... Not a bad excuse for a wee taste test ...!
